Volunteering 
Many people ask, "How can I help?"

 
As a parent, guardian, relative, or older sibling, there are many ways in which you can become involved with the Marshfield Music Program and the Marshfield Friends of Music.  Besides assistance with fair parking or financial contributions, there are multiple opportunities throughout the course of the year where adult involvement is needed and greatly appreciated.  Below you will find several categories of volunteer opportunities with a brief description of each.  Under each description is a means of contacting the appropriate Friends of Music Board Member who orchestrates the volunteer efforts of that particular category.
 
Please sign up to help with the category of your choice.  Not only will you feel good about being actively involved in your loved one's music education experience, but you may find that you have a lot of fun in the process!

Fundraising Activities 

Assist with concession sales, programs and tickets at various music concerts (e.g., Junior Districts, Holiday Concerts, Evening of Jazz or Spring Concerts, etc.). 
Assist with Music Program special events (e.g., Band Camp Ice Cream Social, Music Student Cookout, Junior Districts catering set-up and decorations, and Music Awards night set-up and decorations).

Assist in supporting various student events and activities (e.g., parental support at various parades, Berklee Jazz Festival Chaperones, Great East Chaperones).

Assist in the planning of the various FOM fundraising activities throughout the course of the year (e.g., Basket Raffles, Calendar Raffle, Little Caesar Pizza Night, Taste of the Town, etc.).
