The Marshfield Music Department is pleased to announce that MHS Senior, Victoria Medeiros, has been accepted to participate in the 2009 MENC All-Eastern Honors Band.  The All-Eastern Honors Band will be comprised of students from 12 states including CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, R I, PA, VT and a small contingent from Europe. A member of the Marshfield High School Wind Ensemble, AP Music Theory Class and Jazz Ensemble I, Victoria has participated in music festivals at the district and state levels.  In addition, Victoria has been involved in numerous outside music organizations including: The New England Conservatory Preparatory School, Massachusetts Youth Wind Ensemble, New England Conservatory Honors Jazz Ensemble and the South Shore Conservatory Honor’s Saxophone Quartet.  Victoria is planning to major in Music Education and Performance next year.

The 2009 MENC All-Eastern Honors Ensembles will perform for an audience of thousands on Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Providence Rhode Island.
