Friends of Music is a non-profit organization of volunteer parents, alumni, residents and friends committed to the enrichment of the Marshfield Schools music program, Kindergarten through grade 12, through funding, volunteerism and raising awareness. Our new web site is a work in progress - today offering some current events and basic information about activities in the music department. In the coming weeks, you will find expanded calendars, news, resources and tools. Your feedback is always welcome.

Volunteer Opportunity & Concert CDs for sale

Volunteers are needed for the "Taste of the Town" fundraiser. An event of this size is not possible without the support of our parents. Volunteers are needed to solicit donations for auction items, to serve as wait staff the evening of the event and to help with other activities. Together we can make this our most successful fundraiser yet. Please let Diane Flynn know if you are able to help.

The MHS Winter Concerts in December were professionally recorded and sound great! They are available for sale and can be ordered by returning the order form with payment to your music teacher. Contact Mr. Kaminski with questions or for more information.

Thanks and congratulations!

Thanks and congratulations to all for another spectacular Fall for Marshfield Music. Football games, parades, high school and elementary concerts, hosting Jr. District auditions, and trips to N. River Community Church and Dana Farber all went so well thanks to your efforts. I can't thank everyone enough for the hard work that made everything so successful. We continue on with a very busy Winter.  Jr./Sr. SEMSBA registration closes soon - please contact your music teacher if you are still interested in auditioning. All-State Auditions are Jan 23 - good luck auditioners!  Please check the Calendar page for info on FBMS concerts, Evening of Jazz, MAJE Jazz Festival and Berklee Jazz Festival.
