Marshfield Friends of Music is a non-profit organization of volunteer parents, alumni, residents and friends committed to the enrichment of the Marshfield Schools music program, kindergarten through high school; through funding, volunteerism and raising awareness. This website is designed to offer basic information about current events and upcoming activities in association with the Music Department. Labor Day Weekend Parade!

 

The Marching Band will be performing in the Labor Day Weekend Parade on Sunday, September 5 in Scituate!  The parade begins at 1:00 PM with a route near the Scituate Light House.  Please come to support our band!  Band members are to meet in the Band Room at 11:30 AM.   Dress is black band shoe, khaki shorts, green band polo shirt, and marching band cap.

Fair Parking - Thank You!

 

Despite some less than ideal weather during parts of the week, we had another successful year of Fair Parking!  Thanks very much to all who volunteered their time and talent!

 

Welcome Back!
 

I hope everyone had a restful, relaxing summer.  It's hard to believe we're back already.  Band camp went really well.  Thanks for everyone's participation and help.  Our other big news is that School Committee approved our proposal for a MHS music trip to Southern California this coming April.  Information will be posted and coming home soon.  Please check the Calendar page for information on parades, football games, and concerts.
