Fair Parking
Friends of Music runs a large parking lot at the Marshfield Fair for 10 days every August. Fair Parking is a very important source of revenue for Friends of Music and a terrific opportunity for students and their parents to earn money for their student music accounts.
Fair Parking Sign-Up - It's Easy!
Sign-up for Fair Parking is now available online! First, view the "Available Shifts" link to the right to see the Adult and/or Student shifts that are still available. Then, use the "Online Signup Sheet" link to request an available shift. Your name will be added to a listing of pending requests on the "Online Signup Sheet" page, and you will receive an email message once your shift request has been accepted.
If you would like to check the Fair Parking Schedule to review the shift for which you have already signed up , use the "Fair Parking Schedule" link to the right to see the entire schedule.
Earning for Student Accounts
Friends of Music maintains individual student music accounts, which can be utilized to supplement music lessons, pay for music related trip expenses, purchase music supplies (such as reeds, strings, etc.), or assist in paying for a variety of other music related items. For every assigned hour of Fair Parking that a student works, he/she will be credited $5.00 to his/her student music account. Similarly, adults (parents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.) who work Fair Parking will also be credited $5.00 for each assigned hour worked, which they must designate to a student music account of their choice.
